The Nomad ChargeKey, first rolled out in 2013 and periodically updated, just got dramatically more powerful charging capabilities and enhanced data transfer speeds. And the new v2 version comes with a reduced price compared to its predecessor, saving folks about $10.
The new USB-C to USB-C ChargeKey represents a major leap forward from its 2023 counterpart, boosting charging capacity from 60W to an impressive 240W. This substantial increase means the tiny cable can now effectively fast-charge everything from iPhones to MacBook Pro laptops at their maximum supported speeds.
10Gbps data transfer speeds with USB 3.1

Beyond power delivery, the updated accessory addresses a key limitation of the previous model by upgrading from USB 2.0 to USB 3.1, enabling data transfer speeds of up to 10Gbps.
