Chinese developer Digiarty is giving away a two-title combo pack, which includes a video converter and a DVD ripper, for free till May 25.
Even if you’re a fan of Handbrake — a free, open-source video transcoding app that’s become a Cult of Mac favorite — you might still want to check out the kit’s different feature set, which includes the ability to rip even encrypted DVDs. The website seems to suggest that downloaders have to “like” the developer’s Facebook site in order to get the goodies, but that didn’t appear to be the case when we downloaded it.
We haven’t had any experience with it yet, so if you’ve played around with it, let us know what you think.

I keep getting an invalid unlock code error

Both titles registered fine for me, tho only when I used the right code for each product… test rip underway.
EVERYONE PAY ATTENTION! I cannot speak for windows users, but for macs, once it id downloaded, open the folder that is now in your downloads…there are 3 files in there. The fist one is ReadMe.Txt OPEN IT AND READ IT!!! The activation code is in there! Copy and paste and hit unlock and bam it works!
I was able to open the DVD Ripper just fine (and it didn’t ask for a code either), but I can’t get the HD Video Converter to work when I enter the activation code.

Works fine for me, just need to differentiate between the two different keys. Just finished burning and converting about 9 hours worth of stuff with no problems. Good product
