Have you ever wondered what 1,107 MacBook Airs would look like? I sure hope not. I mean, hopefully you have more pressing things on your mind, like how to solve world hunger or where to get a burrito for lunch. But if you do fantasize about stacks-on-stacks-on-stacks of Apple products, then check out this massive order of MacBook Airs.
The entire pile includes 1,107 MacBook Airs. If the company just bought the baseline 11-inch $999.99 model then you’re looking at $1,106,988.93 worth of Apple hardware.
Have you ever seen a bigger stack of Apple products? Tell us your fish-tale in the comments.

I wish I worked there.
Work for a shipping company and cracked open 15 boxes marked as “pc parts” with a value of $500 and found just under 3000 iPhone 5 worth around 450,000.00
I want to see what the factory looks like just before a product launch.

They must be preparing to replace their entire company’s laptops with MacBook Airs. 1,107 employees converting from Windows XP to OS X.
I know I would if I owned the company and didn’t like Windows 8.
I think that anyone buying a default config with 4GB of RAM is making a BIG mistake. BIG, BIG mistake. That thing will be obsolete so quick, it’s not even funny!
OP on the reddit comment thread said it was for a school district, there also probably leased.
Not brand new and not still in the box but here are 2700 MacBook Airs ready for the new school year.

Mark those boxes as iPhones and you are guaranteed to receive a maximum of 14 boxes.

Just calculated how much profit my AAPL shares made from that bundle in the picture – 17 cents in total off of 48 cents in revenue. I’m rich!

Thanks! Very cool.
Can you shed any more details on your setup – are they leased or owned, 11″ or 13″ models with how much RAM. And when did you get them in, this month? Sorry for all the questions…
They are 11″ models. We just completed our second year of a 1to1 program where all students grades 5-12 get a Macbook Air. The initial purchase was for 2400 in 2011. We bought about 150 2012 models and got 150 of the latest model last month. The bulk of the laptops have 2GB RAM but the later models have 4GB. They have really held up better than we expected. Of course we have broken screens but very little hardware failure (other than the darn chargers).
