Apple's 5th Avenue location in New York City might be its most iconic retail store, but it's not necessarily the strangest.

Good luck getting an appointment at the Genius Bar.Due to its location in a historic building and its need to be restored from the ground up, the Covent Garden Apple Store in London was the world's most expensive Apple Store to build, costing more than $35 million.Located in the Altmarkt-Galerie, this Apple Store in Dresden, Germany (which opened on March 31st, 2011) has the temporary distinction of being the world's newest Apple Store… but with new Apple Stores opening up every day, that certainly won't last very long.
