The 15th series of “South Park” is set to premiere in the U.S. tomorrow, here’s a preview that features Steve Jobs launching a “new product that will once again revolutionize the way we use our phones and tablet devices” called the HumancentiPad.

Hmm. Ok. Thinking that a) although they made him look healthy in the clip, Jobs is ill so he’s not a fair target  b) the Human Centipede reference isn’t as incisive a reference to how we’re all connected by tech as they would like.

The Simpsons did it better back in 2008.

What do you think?

Without seeing the whole episode, it’s tough to tell wether it’s “well done” or not. On the other hand, it’s South Park, so expect the worst. :)
Also, they don’t really care about “fair targets” and that’s the way it should be when you do satire.

    I don’t think, I just buy what I’m told!

  6. HMK says:

Lame. The Simpson’s Steve Mobs/Mapple Store is way smarter and actually funny.

  7. Don Pope says:

Even when it’s crude, South Park tends to be funny and relevant.
I will have to watch it in context to judge.

This is based on a truly horrifically awful idea in a film called Human Centipede. You can netflix it. I wouldn’t recommend it though.

In the film a german surgeon kidnaps two lost American tourists and then surgically attaches their mouths to the anus of the person in front of them to make “the human centipede”

It is as disgusting as it sounds.

Disgusting and funny… par for the course for South Park
