Have you ever gotten to a party and forgotten your camera? We’ve all witnessed a great moment and thought: ‘I wish I had my camera ready.’ Well, worry no more because now Sony has the perfect party camera that automatically takes pictures. The Party-shot camera dock uses a face-detection BIONZ image processor to find your friends and snap away.

“Party-shot captures candid moments that tell natural life stories and also offers a new style of photography that enriches time with your family and friends,” said Shigehiko Nakayama, a Sony Electronics digital imaging accessories product manager.

Along with auto-photography, the camera dock pans 360 degrees and is compatible with the DSC-WX1 and DSC-TX1 Cyber-shot camera. The camera accessory will snap pictures for 11 hours before needing two fresh AA batteries. An AC adapter is also available.

To get the perfect candid photos at your next gathering, you can pick up the Party-shot personal photographer for around $150 in September at Sony Style retailers or pre-order online.
