With all the hullabaloo over the fake Apple stores, it’s easy for the real Apple retailers to get lost in the shuffle.
There are five bona fide Apple stores opening up around the globe this weekend, two in the U.S. and one each in Australia, Canada and Italy.
Here’s a sneak peek at the one opening August 13 in Italy at mall I Gigli, outside Florence.
Apple’s sixth store in Italy, the mall itself is pretty mundane – though I remember expeditions there as a study abroad student seeking anonymous big-box retail respite from the mom-and-pop stores in the city center where my pathetic Italian frequently left me empty-handed.

I was just at the opening of the new Australian store. It went off without a hitch and, as is to be expected, there were plenty of people.
Mama Mia! Thatsa one spicy Apple retail store. Another stake through Android’s heart.

The Italians have such a strong aesthetic, I’d love to see more from that store.

I like going to Apple stores I feel comfortable, I don’t feel pressured to buy unlike when I visit PC World,
