Substitute teachers expect pranks, but when an iPad went missing the police were called on one boy.

A 12-year-old elementary school student in Springfield, Ohio was charged with felony theft after filching the iPad of a sub.

Teacher Steven Jones reported his iPad stolen from a sixth-grade classroom taught on May 11. The kid was busted after school security cams immortalized him showing the tablet computer to fellow students.

The boy admitted stealing it, but says he gave it away. He was released to custody of his mother.
