Got a second-generation Apple TV? Get it while it’s hot: a new update has just hit Apple’s update servers.

The update is labeled 4.2.2 (build 8F305), and it’s the first update for the Apple TV since iOS 4.2.1 was released back in late March, adding video and audio improvements.

There’s no change log yet, so we’re not actually sure what’s changed. At the very least, it should break existing Apple TV jailbreaks, so be warned before you upate.

This update possible fixed my Netflix stability problems. Usually once a week my Netflix would become unresponsive to play commands which would lead me to restoring the Apple TV for the service to work again. This happen yesterday, before i did the update. After the update everything was back to normal. This could be do the update process.
