Did you miss out on preordering an iPhone 4S? Afraid to brave the lines outside of your local Apple Store? Skeptical that Wal-Mart, Target and Best Buy will get the iPhone 4S you want? You now have another option: go pre-order an iPhone 4S at Sam’s Club today, then pick it up Friday.
Sam’s Club has launched reservations for the iPhone 4S, saying on their site:
iPhone 4S will be available for pre-order at most Sam’s Club locations beginning at 10:00 a.m. on October 11th on a first-come, first-served basis. Available for purchase on October 14th while supplies last.
Note that not all Sam’s Clubs will have iPhone 4Ses, so check their database to make sure that the Sam’s Club nearest to you has one before you try to order it.

I went to Naperville, IL Sams Club location today & was told they would be receiving 16gb only. Also a total of Qty. 10 for that location.
I reserved a 16gb at my location ;)
Sounds about right. Sam’s Club isn’t really a standard reseller. They are authorized because of their connection to Walmart but they don’t ever get huge supplies of iPhones. Rather the real supplies go to Walmart who needs the draw of the iPhone to fight against Target, Walgreens, Kohls etc
