Who would have thought we’d see the day when Rovio released anything but an Angry Birds game? Well, that day is almost upon us, as Rovio has released the official Amazing Alex trailer announcing a July 12th release for both the Google Play Store and App Store.
We’re guessing Amazing Alex will be a hit once released, given Rovio’s reputation, but we don’t expect it to come anywhere near Angry Birds numbers (but you never know). Amazing Alex is a physics-based puzzler with over 100 levels that will have you building various contraptions to fulfill Alex’s imagination and curiosity for chain reactions.
No word yet on pricing, but we’ll find out soon enough. Check out the trailer below and expect it to be in app stores worldwide starting Thursday.
