You won’t find a special edition (PRODUCT)RED iPhone X in the Apple store alongside the new iPhone 8 tomorrow, unfortunately — but if you want to support a good cause, you can get your hands on one of Apple’s new RED leather folio cases.
iPhone X would look spectacular with red glass on its back — and Apple is likely to offer that option one day. But for now, you’ll have to bring (PRODUCT)RED to iPhone X yourself with Apple’s new leather folio case, priced at $99.
Go RED with iPhone X
Just like the other folio cases in Apple’s lineup, this one is specially tanned and finished in Europe, with built-in magnets that automatically wake your iPhone X when you open it and put it back to sleep again when you close it.
Just like the new special edition iPhone 8, the new folio will be available to order from the Apple store tomorrow, April 10.
Apple also affords a RED leather case for iPhone, RED leather Smart Covers and sleeves for iPad, and RED leather bands for Apple Watch. You can find all its RED products on its website. A percentage of all sales is donated to The Global Fund to finance AIDS and HIV programs around the world.
