google+ isn’t showing up in the app store on my ipad 2. any ideas?

  2. TheMinorProphet says:

Nor mine. I followed the link, downloaded, but it’s only showing up as an expandable-sized app. Not a “real” iPad app. What’s up?

  3. koreys says:

Just installed on my iPad and its showing as an iPhone app. No full resolution for the iPad.

    Same here.

Google Plus has such a nicer interface compared to Facebook and works so much better.  If only there were people on it.

Facebook is like MySpace in that once you are on it and have a bazillion friends and connections, it’s really really unlikely you will move to a new service no matter how much better looking/working it is.

  6. Michael Natale says:

Tried installing on my 1st Gen iPad and got a message stating it was not installed as it isn’t “compatible with this iPad”.

As you can only download the iPhone app on your iPad, nothing is iPad optimized. You have to use 2x magnification…so it looks like a piece of crap.
But hey, Google is used to doing that on Android for tablets, so why should we expect them to actually improve the application for the tablet that’s kicking their Android ass.

  8. John Johnston says:

Whats up with the iPhone sized app.  I find that unacceptable, so I probably won’t use it as much.

Finally seems iOS 5 friendly too. Currently on Beta 5.
