Nomad upgrades fancy Base One Max to 3-in-1 charger

Nomad’s premium metal-and-glass Base One Max 2-in-1 charger got an upgrade this week to 3-in-1. It can charge iPhone, AirPods and Apple Watch simultaneously, the company said.

The charger boasts official MagSafe tech, so it will goose your handset with a full 15 watts.

Nomad said the Base One Max 3-in-1 MagSafe Charger is made of solid metal and premium glass.

It features official MFi MagSafe technology for iPhone charging up to 15W, rather than the 7.5W limit of many “MagSafe-compatible” third-party chargers.

And Nomad’s fancy new charger includes an integrated Apple Watch charger plus a charging spot for an AirPods wireless charging case (or other Qi-compatible earbuds charging case).

The premium build brings the new charger in at 1.7 pounds. It comes with a detachable 6.6-foot USB-C cable and a choice of black (“Carbide”) or silver colors. You’ll have to provide your own 30W power adapter, however.

You can pick up the Base One Max 3-in-1 MagSafe Charger for $170. The older 2-in-1 version is $150.
