While unveiling the new OS X Mavericks at WWDC, Apple talked about the upcoming iteration of Safari.
The app’s new UI looks a little cleaner, with a redesigned home tabs layout and improvements to Reading List. There’s a new sidebar for quickly accessing bookmarks.
A big feature in the new Safari is a sidebar that’s designed to hold everything: bookmarks, Reading List, and links you’ve shared on other social networks. Safari’s Reader has some design tweaks to help make the reading experience cleaner, including better support for article pagination.
And yes, Safari will have iCloud-synced passwords and logins in OS X Mavericks. Finally.
For users who have switched to third-party browsers like Chrome, Apple touted the new Safari’s enhanced responsiveness and improved memory usage. Each tab will have its own separate process.
