Apple Arcade continues to grow next month with an exciting lineup of five new titles. A quirky multiplayer game from award-winning developer Triband — What the Clash? — headlines the bunch.
The subscription gaming service also adds With My Buddy, Lego Friends Heartlake Rush+, Words of Wonders: Search+ and Sumi Sumi: Matching Puzzle+. You can read more about them below.
5 new game titles including Triband’s What the Clash? join Apple Arcade May 1
What the Clash? serves as the follow-up to Triband’s critically acclaimed What the Car?, which won Mobile Game of the Year at the 2024 D.I.C.E. Awards. This party game offers fast-paced multiplayer action that combines elements of table tennis, archery, racing and tag in unexpected ways. Players can unlock modifier cards to create absurd combinations like “giraffle,” “toasty archery,” and “milk the fish,” ensuring each match delivers chaotic and surprising fun.
The game features simple touch controls where everyone plays as “The Hand” — a stretchy hand with legs that can be customized with hundreds of unlockable items including eye patches, dresses and earrings. Players can compete solo, challenge friends to one-on-one battles, climb leaderboards or enter tournaments.
