NBA 2K26 Arcade Edition brings the latest update to what many consider the definitive basketball game franchise for Apple devices. It goes way beyond just playing the game with amazing graphics — players can also take a different route and manage their favorite NBA team.
The feature-packed offering is now on Apple Arcade for iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV.
NBA 2K26 Arcade Edition: Console-quality basketball
The original NBA 2K21 Arcade Edition debuted in spring 2021, and a fresh update comes from 2K Games at the beginning of each season, each improving on the title.
NBA 2K26 Arcade Edition revamps the MyPLAYER Builder, allowing players to create a skill set similar to some of the greats in the league. And because the game shoots for digital realism, players can earn rewards like shoes, outfits, tattoos and more.
After building a character, go into MyCAREER. Players start out as rookies and can assemble a dream team of the NBA’s top stars and lead them to championship glory.
An alternative way to play is The Association. Become the GM and Head Coach of an NBA franchise and build a team by making trades, signing free agents, scouting prospects and balancing finances. Plus, this year 2K Games added NBA Eras to The Association. It lets players manage iconic NBA dynasties.
NBA 2K26 Arcade Edition is just loaded with features. Players can relive iconic games of NBA Superstars and retired legends in the Paragon Mode. Blacktop Mode offers 3v3 street basketball by choosing from any of the 30 NBA teams and competing in real-time with friends. In Quick Match, rivals face off in 5v5 games.
Or use Spectator Mode to bring the action courtside, or watch games that match the NBA season with NBA Today.
