Mac users can now install macOS Sonoma 14.3 and start using collaborative music playlists along with a few other tweaks.
Apple also introduced iOS 17.3, iPadOS 17.3, watchOS 10.3 and tvOS 17.3 on Monday.
What’s new in macOS Sonoma 14.3
Collaborative music playlists are undoubtedly the highlight of macOS Sonoma 14.3 — this is a hotly anticipated addition for Mac users, and it’s also now available for iPhone.
The feature lets users invite friends to join a playlist, and everyone can add, reorder, and remove songs. Plus, they can use emoji to react to the song choices in Now Playing.
In addition, macOS Sonoma 14.3 lists all the devices for which the user has AppleCare coverage.
To download the macOS Sonoma update, go to Apple menu > About This Mac. Then click Software Update. Alternatively, you can install the new version from the App Store. (Note: At the time of this writing, Apple had not yet updated the version of macOS in the App Store. But it should happen soon.)
Also new versions for iPhone, iPad and more
It’s not only a good day for Mac. iPhone and iPad users can now install an update, too.
