Logitech’s latest iPad accessory, Flip Folio, is a protective keyboard case specifically engineered for Apple’s iPad Pro and iPad Air models, the Swiss peripherals giant said Wednesday. Logitech Flip Folio promises to enhance the iPad experience at home or on the go with a unique magnetic storage system and multi-device connectivity. Those should appeal to users seeking versatility in their mobile computing setup.
“We’ve designed Flip Folio to make the iPad experience both fun and functional, helping you stay focused on what matters,” said Joseph Mingori, Logitech GM of mobile and audio solutions. “Flip Folio enhances everyday experiences — from binge watching to checking your social media or emails — by delivering portability and connectivity, setting people free so they can do what they love from anywhere.”

Flip Folio features a magnetically stow-able Bluetooth keyboard that snaps to the back of the case when not in use. This design eliminates the bulk typically associated with traditional keyboard cases while maintaining full-size key functionality. The magnetic attachment system allows iPad Pro or iPad Air users to quickly transition between typing and touch-based interactions without having to remove or carry a separate keyboard.
Flip Folio works with iPad Pro models featuring the M4 chip (both 11-inch and 13-inch) and iPad Air models with M2 and M3 chips (11-inch and 13-inch), as well as M1 iPad Air (5th generation). This broad compatibility ensures the accessory will work with Apple’s most recent iPad releases and should remain relevant as new models come out.

Beyond the keyboard functionality, Flip Folio provides front and back protection for iPad models. So it’s suitable for users who frequently travel or work in various environments. The case includes a multi-angle kickstand with a compact footprint. That lets users position their iPad at optimal viewing angles for both landscape and portrait orientations.
The accessory supports multi-device pairing, enabling users to connect up to three Bluetooth devices simultaneously. This feature allows seamless switching between an iPad, iPhone and other Bluetooth-enabled devices. That could be particularly valuable for users who work across Apple’s ecosystem regularly.
Environmental considerations
Logitech also incorporated sustainability elements into Flip Folio’s design. The graphite and midnight black color variants contain a minimum of 37% certified post-consumer recycled plastic. And their aluminum components arise from low-carbon manufacturing processes.
The company obtains all paper packaging materials from FSC-certified and controlled sources. That aligns with growing consumer demand for environmentally conscious tech accessories, Logitech said.

Flip Folio comes in two size configurations to match current iPad models. The 13-inch version goes for $179.99. The 11-inch variant costs $159.99.
Logitech plans a staggered release schedule across different color options. You can get graphite and midnight black colors now (black in North America only, and currently the only one on Amazon). Additional color variants include pale grey, lilac and sand, arriving in September 2025. Regional availability may vary by color.
