Latest iTunes 10.5 Beta Finally Fixes iTunes Match, Now It Actually Works!

Earlier today, Apple released Beta 9 of iTunes 10.5, and wow: for the first time since they rolled out the beta, iTunes is actually mirroring our songs to the cloud. Previously, it would just hang indefinitely. So if you’ve had problems with iTunes Match before, give it a shot now: it seems to be working fine.

Note, however, that it takes forever. Didn’t Steve Jobs said it would mirror in seconds?

    He said it would take minutes, not weeks. I’m sure it takes a lot of minutes but won’t take weeks.

    Looks like come Tuesday all the features for iOS5 won’t be ready!!! So sad. After 16 months and 7 beta’s it still ain’t ready for release!!!

    At least Apple is taking time to test it , instead of rushing it out like other companies.
