Wouldn’t it be nice to have a jacket that lets you store your iPhone, iPad, sync cables, and maybe even a MacBook Air? The folks at AyeGear think so.
The AyeGear jacket lets you take your Apple devices with you wherever you go.

This isn’t your average jacket. The AyeGear offers protection from the elements for your precious Apple gear. With 18 pockets for gadget storage, the AyeGear should offer storage for even the most well-stocked Apple fanatic.
AppAdvice’s Joe White got a look at the AyeGear during the JailbreakCon (formerly MyGreatFest) convention in London.
“First, you wouldn’t think it’s packed out with pockets or is housing iOS devices, because when I saw the jacket’s creator, he looked just like he was wearing any normal body-warmer.”
The AyeGear will hold your iPhone, iPod touch, iPod classic, iPad, MacBook Air, cables, cameras, and the Camera Connection Kit. There’s also room for what you would normally put in your pockets, like a wallet, glasses, and your keys.

The compartments reserved for iDevices feature “finger friendly” covers that allow the wearer to use the iPhone or iPod touch while still inside the jacket.

The AyeGear could very well be the perfect Christmas gift for your beloved Apple geek. Visit the AyeGear website for more information. The jacket is available in the UK for £59.99, or almost $95. International shipping is available.

pretty idiotic to sell a jacket without showing what it looks like…
my best friend’s mom makes $77 an hour on the computer. she has been out of job for 9 months but last month her check was $7487 just working on the computer for a few hours. read about it and get started following the first step “Online Income Solution” , here http://flaturl.com/e3
Yeah. I got excited about it, but then couldn’t find a single photo of it on someone. Why would I buy 18 pockets that may or may not resemble a jacket for a hundred bucks?
Sounds like AyeGear is trying to replicate Scottevest (http://www.scottevest.com) right down to the red stitching on the jacket. I love my Scottevest clothes (a hoodie, a fleece jacket with zip-off sleeves and four pairs of pants) and how easy it is to wire up my iPhone inside it. The AyeGear is actually disconcertingly similar.
Scottsvest has a MUCH better product. This crap is a rip off. http://www.scottevest.com/

Shame on you cultofmac. Click that link and tell me Ayegear aren’t ripping the hell out of their idea with a literal knockoff. I have 2 Scottivests and wondered if Scottivest has told these guys to stop stealing their ideas.
I can’t wait to get mugged while wearing this!
Wow. 100% ScottEvest ripoff…
scottevest should sue.
Copies even the red stitching for the pen pockets.Â
The scottevest travel vest has 22 pockets BTW.
Hey Author, it’s not a jacket, it’s a vest. Jackets have sleeves. Vests do not.
The popups! Guys, I can’t even watch the video because of the popups you are now putting on my iPad. Even when I visit your site through Pulse. You’re getting deleted from my bookmarks if this continues through the end of the week. I PROMISE!
As to the jacket, I agree Scotty Vest should sue. Do not want!
When you click on order they have pictures with someone wearing it. I’m not sure if he actually has everything in the pockets in the pictures though. I agree that they should show pics of people wearing them up front.
You sure it’s CoM, not the video itself? Â I get nuthin else when I view it in Flash on my Mac. Â Don’t have a jesusPhone, but I’m thinking it might be buried in the HTML5 code?
For those occasions when cargo pants alone aren’t geeky enough.
Yeah, the mugger will beg you to shoot him by the time he hits pocket 17.
That’s an …interesting… looking vest type jacket …thing. It makes you look like a high-tech toting pig farmer., from Europe.Â
Blatant copy of the much more superior Scottevest travel clothing line. Decide for yourself- http://tinyurl.com/6b3n538
Wow, it’s like Samsung started making jackets. What a blatant Scottevest rip off! I have the Scottevest Revolution jacket that this is copying and it looks like they didn’t even bother to change anything except the logos. They’ve even got the red stitching and the red headphone loops. SMH
Sure enough, here’s where the CEO of Scottevest is talking about copyright infringement:Â http://www.mobypicture.com/use…
Perfect for terrorists…
if only we didn’t already have something just like this. Â if only alex did a bit of journalistic research.

definitely a poor mans Scottevest !
the rip-off evidence is here – did you see it ? http://t.co/372FCfzJ
Ugliest thing I’ve ever seen.
It must be really ugly, because there’s not a single picture of the outside of it.
When I first saw this I thought ScottEvest had changed its name. Looks almost like my Fleece 5.0! Lawsuit in 3…2…1…
Seriously a ridiculous Knock-off. The real deal is at http://www.scottevest.com, I can’t even believe ayegear is still trying to pass off as the real deal.Â
Sorry for resurrecting an old thread, but I have a few things to add.
I’m Scott Jordan, the CEO of www.scottevest.com, and I need to set the record straight.  I’m not sure if you know this, but www.Ayegear.com purchased one of our products and totally knocked off our design.  Theirs is almost identical to ours other than where they put their name on it instead of ours… and the quality.  I wish I was kidding.  It seems to have caused a lot of confusion in the marketplace, and a pretty long article about it was published on this well known US blog: http://www.geardiary.com/2011/09/19/flattery-or-just-plain-rip-off-you-decide/.  While I welcome competition, blatant rip offs don’t further innovation – it would be like comparing an iPhone and an “iFone.”  We’ve been shipping our products worldwide for over 10 years now, and have received great press in The Times (http://tinyurl.com/7bluq8n) and on iTV, but we just started selling our best selling travel vest (the one Ayegear knocked off) through Amazon in the UK and EU.  If you want to purchase the original, and not a rip off, check out this link for the Men’s version (http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B007BDF2DO) and this one for the Women’s version (http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B007BDI3FS).  Ours are available in a bunch of different colors, have a great warranty and ship fast from the UK (press release is here: http://tinyurl.com/79juqq9).  Please tell your friends to buy the original if they’re looking for a vest.  We really appreciate your business, and you can reach me on Twitter @scottevest and Facebook (www.facebook.com/scottevest).
