A smart new water bottle called Reevus integrates with Apple’s Find My network so you never leave it behind at the gym, and it doubles as an iPhone stand and camera gimbal for steady photos and videos on your adventures, Journey said Friday. It called the water bottle the first of its kind.
“As eco-conscious people increasingly favor bottle monogamy, they’re investing in better quality bottles,” Journey said. “This is intensifying their dependence on un-losable bottles — because it’s too costly and disruptive to lose or misplace a bottle when you rely on it all day and every day.”
Journey Reevus Insulated Stainless Steel Bottle
Known for gear like chargers, Apple Watch bands and MagSafe wallets, Melbourne, Australia-based tech and lifestyle accessories brand Journey launched preorders of Reevus, an insulated stainless steel bottle. It combines Apple Find My tracking with innovative phone stand functionality. And it promises to change how Apple users stay hydrated while keeping track of their belongings, Journey said. In the coming weeks, I plan to try it out and review it.
As smart devices continue to integrate more deeply with Apple’s ecosystem, products like Reevus represent a growing trend of everyday items enhanced with connectivity and additional functionality. This could be great for iPhone users who prioritize both technology and hydration.
Never lose your water bottle again
Reevus features a detachable magnetic Apple Find My tracker. That allows iPhone users to locate their bottle through the Find My app as part of Apple’s extensive Find My network. When within Bluetooth range (about 66 feet, or 20 meters), users can trigger the bottle’s built-in speaker through the app, emitti a 100dB ringtone designed to be audible in various environments including homes, offices and fitness centers.
For bottles left beyond Bluetooth range, users can still track the Reevus on the Find My app map. The system also allows for separation alerts, notifying users when they’re about to leave their bottle behind — a particularly useful feature when departing from the gym or heading out for the day.
Beyond hydration: A multifunctional device

What sets Reevus apart from other smart bottles is its additional functionality as a phone accessory. The bottle’s flip-up carry-ring doubles as a MagSafe-compatible phone stand with powerful magnets. It works with iPhone 12 and newer models. The ring’s 90-degree hinge allows users to adjust their phone’s viewing angle in both landscape and portrait orientations. And for users with older iPhones or non-Apple phones, the Reevus includes a universal compatibility ring in the box, Journey noted.
“It’s a phone user’s phone stand, tripod and gimbal. It’s perfect for video calls, content creation and extra screen real estate,” said Journey. “Phone users have a stand for impromptu work video calls, or if they chance on an Instagrammable vista on a hike, they have a tripod to capture the moment.”
Practical design meets sustainability
Beyond its tech features, Reevus offers practical benefits as a premium water bottle. The double-walled vacuum-insulated bottle keeps drinks cold for up to 24 hours or warm throughout the day. It’s also BPA-free, dishwasher safe and leak-proof, according to Journey.
The bottle’s dust- and water-resistant tracker puck features a rechargeable battery. It lasts up to 120 days on a single charge. Additionally, the tracker can be removed and placed in luggage or other everyday items when needed.
Journey emphasizes the sustainability aspect of their product. It notes that using the Reevus for just one day potentially saves several single-use plastic bottles from disposal.
Availability and pricing
You can preorder Reevus now from Journey in three colors: black, white and gray. Early adopters automatically receive a 15% launch discount off the $89.99 retail price. The bottle will probably show up on Amazon at some point, as well.
