As predicted, iOS 4.3 has just dropped and is ready for download now onto supported hardware, running the gamut of third and fourth generation iOS devices from the iPhone 3GS to the iPad 2.
Here are some direct links to iOS 4.3 downloads:
• iPhone 4
• iPad
• Apple TV
Changes in iOS 4.3 include faster web browsing thanks to the Nitro JavaScript engine, personal hotspot functionality for AT&T iPhones and iTunes home sharing, allowing users to stream their iTunes libraries directly to their device. Full details are available here.

Hey, i just finished downloading iOS 4.3 today but there’s no multitouch gestures?.. I don’t understand
Well that is the apple way… think about all the poor douche bags that got the iphone 4 and in less than a year there will be an iphone 5 most likely with dual core and a bigger screen. I am sure they will feel the same way.
Your 3G cannot do anything else faster or better. Why not say fuck the 2G too? So why care?
Not in Portugal yet.
They got removed. Probably saving them for IOS 5
Does anyone know how to open the Personal Hotspot? I can’t find it.
I don’t have iPad 1 or Installed iOS 4.3 yet but As I was checking the video tours that Apple posted just now Ive noted that Google Street View is available now on Maps natively :D

You have to have it set up with your account first, then activate in General->network
Pretty sure that was there already…?
The operating system grows and evolves. The hardware is static. iOS 4.3 won’t run on hardware older than the 3Gs. I don’t see how that grants owners of older hardware the license to whine. Its not like your 3Gs doesn’t work AT ALL now.
You people need to stop complaining.
1. How far in the past are you people wanting apple to stay? They release 1 product once a year at the same time, what more can you ask?
2. The iPhone 3G’s hardware is at its limit, you can choose to have the user experience shot or keep a phone that’s more than what you paid for.
We’re anticipating the iPhone 5 this summer and we can’t wait. We’re automating testing for our apps now, getting them ready! :) http://www.zap-fix.com
So is this not for Verizon iPhone 4? iTunes keeps telling me I’m up to date. Software Update has nothing to update, and the apple webpage specifically says iPhone 4 GSM… but nothing to say when lowly Verizon customers can expect the update.
How do you mean set it up with your account? Where do you do that?
