Given the hilarious nature of HTC President Martin Fichter’s recent comment on the iPhone’s cool factor, it’s only fitting that a web comic be put together to summarize the event.

Keep those retraction comments coming, Fichter.

Heyy Guys, I just got a $829.99 iPåd2 for only $103.37 and my mom got a $1499.99 HDTV for only $251.92, they are both coming with USPS tomorrow. I would be an idiot to ever pay full retail prices at places like Walmart or Bestbuy. I sold a 37″ HDTV to my boss for $600 that I only paid $78.24 for.

Funny as hell, and after HTC’s very crazy arsed comments very topical.

Can you now do a Samsung Apple COPIED US sketch…

Then a Windows 8 will dominate in 2028 when it’s finally released (well service pack 2)…

Plain stupid drawing. Plus, the editor deserves credit for cpopping it (WTF?!), so we click “read more” to see it in its entirety!

Hmm well he’s sort of right. I don’t know anyone who is wowed by someone pulling out an iphone anymore, but thats testament to how good the phone is. The cool novelty factor has worn off, to reveal that it is actually a genuinely good piece of technology.

I think a link to joyoftech.com would be appropriate somewhere, don’t you? What is with CoM not acknowledging their sources?

The Fonz would *not* have an iPhone!

My teenager has my old 3gs, and the way he puts it is ” changed my life “.  Now he has been saving money to buy a iphone 5, apparently it is going to have serious swag.

Fitcher looks like a cross between Ian Duncan-Smith and William Hague. Now that’s seriously uncool.

  16. Len Williams says:

HTC’s CEO is simply trying (desperately) to sling some mud on the iPhone to make his not-nearly-as-popular phone look better. It’s a dopey PR tactic that has gotten him lots of negative feedback. Telling millions upon millions of iPhone users that their beloved iPhones aren’t cool is insulting and isn’t winning him any points. It reminds me of the pundits who spout the trash that all Apple users are drones and only buy their products to look cool. They have no concept that the products we love are excellently designed, highly usable devices that we have chosen because they’re very functional and look beautiful.

Maybe you don’t. But I’m a huge Mac fan, and I love news about other companies and devices.

You are confusing the word “Users” with “Fanboys”.
