I'm just sad Ellie Goulding didn't change her name to Ellie Rose-Goulding in a nifty bit of iPhone 6s cross-promotion.

Apple has announced that Ellie Goulding will open its upcoming Apple Music Festival, while also confirming performances by Carrie Underwood and Mumford and Sons.

Check below for the now-complete lineup of main artists who will rock the London stage for 10 days between September 19 and September 28.

September 19: Ellie Goulding
September 20: Take That
September 21: Carrie Underwood
September 22: One Direction (with Little Mix)
September 23: The Weeknd
September 24: The Chemical Brothers
September 25: Disclosure (with NAO and LION BABE)
September 26: Pharrell Williams (with Leon Bridges)
September 27: Mumford & Sons (with Jack Garrett)
September 28: Florence + The Machine (with James Bay)

Extra support acts will continue to be named in the coming days.

Apple is teaming up with partners such as the London Evening Standard newspaper to give away tickets for the free concerts, although fans shouldn’t worry too much if this doesn’t include you — as the performances are also being streamed live and on-demand via Apple TV, Apple Music and iTunes.

Additional behind-the-scenes material will be released courtesy of Apple Music Connect.

Let’s just hope that the event results in a bit more dad dancing from Tim Cook and co!

Every amazing artist and Take that don’t go in the same article.. .

Never liked them as artists, but lost all respect for them as people after all the tax avoidance schemes they were revealed to be in. All while they’re harping on about charity and how we should donate to help all these different causes, etc.
