Foundation is big TV
Foundation on Apple TV+ is the only authorized adaptation of Isaac Asimov’s classic novels. They were highly acclaimed and groundbreaking, influencing Star Wars and other franchises. They tell the story of a band of exiles struggling to save humanity during and after the fall of a Galactic Empire.
Apple’s multiyear ongoing series delivers first-class acting, and comes loaded with amazing cinematography and special effects. That’s why it’s among the most popular series on Apple TV+.

While undoubtedly intended to bring in new viewers, releasing episode 1 to everyone is a bit of risk because the sci-fi series gets started slowly. It’s not until about episode 3 that it finds its footing.

The 10-episode second season of Foundation will debut globally with one episode on July 14. New episodes will follow weekly on Fridays.
