For a limited time, Apple is running a promo offering six months of Apple Music subscription for just $2.99. That’s just $3 for six months, leading to substantial savings.

Without the promo, new Apple Music subscribers would have to pay $10.99 monthly for the streaming service.

Apple Music runs its “biggest offer ever”

Apple Music previously offered new subscribers a three-month trial. However, in February 2022, it reduced the trial period to one month. Unlike Spotify, Apple’s music streaming service does not have an ad-supported tier, so the trial period is the only way for users to try the service without paying.

Besides this, Apple occasionally runs various Apple Music offers. It bundles a three-month Apple Music trial for new users buying an iPhone or Mac. Similarly, it previously offered 4 months of Apple Music subscription to US military and veterans for free.

Now, ahead of Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show, Apple Music is running its “biggest offer ever.” As part of this, new and eligible subscribers can enjoy six months of Apple Music by paying just $2.99. The offer runs for a limited time — until February 27, 2025.

While not mentioned, if you have only recently canceled your Apple Music subscription, you are unlikely to be eligible for the offer. It is also unavailable for users eligible for 3 months of Apple Music trial. You can follow the instructions on this page to see if you can claim the offer.

Nonetheless, if you have not tried Apple Music before or given up on it, now is a good time to give it a shot. For less than three dollars, you can enjoy six months of the music streaming service. This will give you plenty of time to decide whether to continue with the subscription for 10.99 monthly when the offer period ends.

Remember, the subscription will automatically renew after six months unless you manually cancel it.
