Get Numbers Spreadsheets Printed On One Page [OS X Tips]

For some reason probably having to do with design or layout, Apple’s spreadsheet program, Numbers, can split large tables in some less-than-ideal ways when printing. They can be split up, down, and across multiple pages.

If you want to print it all on one page, however, there’s another way: use Preview. Here’s how.

In Numbers click the little drag square from the top left of the table to select the whole table. Copy the data with a Command-C, or choose Copy from the Edit menu.

Launch Preview, hit Command-N, and the table will be inserted into a new document in Preview. Hit Command-P to print, or select Print from the File menu.

Be sure to show the printing details, and make sure Scale to Fit and Fill Entire Paper are checked in the options. This should help you print long tables that are getting all weird and multi-page on your.
