Here it is folks. The new iPhone 4S. Although apple.com is struggling under the load right now, we’ve managed to grab some images for you. More as soon as we can get them.
So. Externally, it all looks much the same. Still black and white. Still the same iPhone 4 chassis, more or less.
This is where the new stuff is: inside. The A5 chip is the big game changer here, making the 4S a much faster machine all round.
That makes it an even more awesome games machine. Apple is pushing this hard. It wants the kids to buy iThings as games machines.

I really wanted to buy the new iPhone but I’m stuck. I’m gonna get all the iOS advances on my iPhone 4 and iPad. I don’t need the extra speed of the 4S and the current iPhone camera’s fine for what I use it for. I can’t justify the purchase to myself never mind my wife. If it had at least looked different I could have made a case – ho hum, wait till next time I guess.
UPDATE: Looks like Siri is available for the iPhone 4S only – we won’t be getting it on the iPhone 4.
I only have the 3G, so yes. Finally able to upgrade.

I’ve never been so disapointed with Apple. I can’t believe I waited sixteen months for that.
I’ll buy one… This is going to be my very first experience with an iPhone. I wanted to get my hands on the 5, sadly it’s not going to happen (yet), so it will be a 4S for me then.
My last smartphone was a Blackberry Curve, and after a year or so, software problems started and I gave it away… Now I carry a stupid spare Nokia from the 90’s.
Guess it’s time for me to say “Let’s talk iPhone!”
If I still had my Iphone 4 then no. Unfortunately that ‘difssapeared’ on holiday so probably. To me the changes are pretty incremental. No game change. Siri looks good, I dont see many people walking around talking randomly at their phones, not yet anyhow.
