Fold Wallet Is Like A Regular Wallet, Only With Space For An iPhone

The Toffee Cases Fold Wallet takes a different approach to iPhone wallets that most others. Instead of trying to squeeze your cards and cash into a few tiny slots stuck onto the back of the iPhone, Toffee’s Fold Wallet is more like a regular billfold, only with an extra pocket inside for your iPhone.

Fashioned from the now familiar “premium Italian vegetable-tanned leather,” the Fold has space for five cards, a “slip pocket” for other slim bits and pieces and a special cut out so you can plug in your headphones while the iPhone is safely inside.

In some ways, the fat, overstuffed wallet is the male equivalent to the absurdly disorganized and over-filled purse. Both speak of muddled minds and cautious indecision. You take everything with your because you might need anything at any time, so the thinking goes.

I can’t do this. I go crazy if I carry something around with me all day and never use it. A spare SD card and camera battery, sure, but a multitool? Not unless I’m riding my bike (and then the tool is with the patch kit and tube in a small bag under the seat).

Which is to say that if you’re leaving the house with just a phone and some money, then the $60 Fold might be the ideal case. But if you’re just going to keep adding crap to the thing until you can even sit down without twisting your spine, then… Well, then you deserve everything you get.

I’m confused.. do you like this thing or not? was this a review or a slam? ehh.. article point?

Eh? How is taking this, instead of a wallet (with evenmore stuff) plus an iPhone, like taking too much like an overstuffed purse? You confused me, unless you are comparing to taking no wallet, which isn’t like 99 percent of us

I’ve never trusted putting my phone and wallet into the same unit. Double the chances of having identity theft. There’s also not enough card slots for someone like me. I prefer a Rolodex 32-Card Wallet that I buy yearly from Staples.

I don’t really see how this differs from any other wallet or iphone book case. The only one that is different and gives the most flexibility is the combination of the ibillfold2 products.

This is beautiful looking, but not as practical as the ibillfold2 credit card cases and thin leather wallets that attache to it. I don’t have to open my wallet and pull out the phone to answer, nor do I have to fold bills to get them into a pocket.
