Buy.com offers the Fantom G-Force 1TB eSATA / USB 2.0 External Hard Drive, model no. GF1000EU32, for $94.99. This $25 mail-in rebate drops it to $69.99 ($0.07/GB). [With free shipping, that’s the lowest total price we could find by $46.] It ships with an eSATA cable and NTI Shadow 4 backup software. Rebate ends April 11.
Walmart trimmed its price on the Proscan 55″ 240Hz 1080p Widescreen LCD HD Television, model no. 55LC55S240V69, to $1,099. Shipping adds $19.97, or choose free Site-to-Store. (Even with shipping, that’s a $50 drop since our mention two days ago and the the lowest total price we’ve seen for any 55″ 240Hz LCD HDTV.) Sales tax is added where applicable. Features include a 1920×1080 (1080p) native resolution, 240Hz refresh rate, 4,000:1 contrast ratio, 500 cd/m² brightness, four HDMI inputs, and VGA, component, and other video inputs.
