Isn’t it annoying when your iPhone rings and you don’t get to it in time to answer it? One Japanese gentleman aims to solve this problem with a crazy quick-draw contraption that ensures your iPhone is never more than a flick away. Check out the hilarious demonstration video below.

The quick-draw accessory is strapped to your wrist — so you never have to worry about your iPhone getting lost in your bag or purse — and it releases your iPhone into your hand almost instantly. As you can see from the video below, its inventor has spent some time working to perfect the device. But I have a feeling it still needs a little work.

I commend this guy for putting so much effort into this strange device, but unfortunately, I don’t think it’s going to take off. Which is a shame; I’d love to see people in the street ejecting iPhones from their sleeves.

This also guarantees that no call you receive will ever be from a woman.

More like – Ezio’s hidden blade iphone contraption.

This is exactly like Robert De Niro’s contraption from the movie Taxi Driver, except his was used to bring a gun to his hand instead of a phone. Kind of funny how this is used for an iPhone, and just last year Apple had an easter egg in one of their iPhone commercials with a taxi having the same license plate number as the cab in Taxi Driver.
