The iPhone tracking jokes were aflutter on Twitter yesterday as pundits awaited the live broadcast from President Obama on the news of Osama bin Laden’s death.
It was hard to resist (and to be honest, few tried) a tie-in with Apple’s iPhone story, here’s Starline Hodge’s take.

Well, I’m glad you feel that way, I only wish I can meet you in person or at a town hall meeting to express my true opinion in regard to being proud American. You see, you ASSumed that I’m just some blue eyes, blond hair from some midwestern town in America? In fact, I’m a Vietnamese American who was proudly naturalized as an American Citizen. Well, “educate myself and travel outside the 51 states!” in your words!? How about this? Is being born in vietnam and grew up in a oppressed communist regims a good enough of an education for you? This is what makes me wake up every morning with a very special smile attitude on my face knowing that I’m FREE! in the U.S.A, for your FYI, I will pick up arms and defend this country ’till my last breath of air that I take and proudly so! Why? you may ask? Well, I have my children growing up here and I will teach them that serving this country has no higher calling, defending the absolute FREEDOM at all causes. Now, how about let me educate you a little if I may! Please tell me how is it that the U.S. has created such an oppression in your opinion to other countries? I beg to differ with you. I have seen many times over that the U.S. alone had supported and helped and still helping many third world countries, I can speak for absolute certainty that the U.S had helped my former country vietnam to flurry tremendously where it was ranked among the poorest of the poor country, but not any more.

I don’t know why everyone was complaining. I thought it was funny.
No phone and no internet. That was one of the tip offs that the involver was telling the truth. A family that rich and they don’t have a phone or internet, something didn’t feel right.
As for the taking him alive. Why risk that someone could get to him and free him before the hearing. They probably could have just bombed the house to ashes but they wanted to make sure there was a body to show folks proof
