Cheap Chinese Knock-Off Phone Looks Like Nexus One Running iPhone OS

It’s been a content rich morning from the Chinese gadget sweatshops, but this latest handset will undoubtedly give the true Mac faithful the vapors: the TEG W3000 is the spitting image of the unholy, cross-species union of an iPhone and a Nexus One.

Spec-wise, the TEG W3000 is typical: it’s a quad-band GSM phone with accelerometer, WiFi, Bluetooth, dual 2MP cameras, FM, analog TV turners and Java Support. It comes with a few remedial apps, including Facebook, Skype, Opera and Maps.

For Mac fans, though, the real news here is the fairly slick although low-resolution iPhone OS skin job running on a device that, turned off, would look exactly like HTC’s so-called Googlephone, the Nexus One.

Sickening, isn’t it? It’s like looking at a picture off the mucousy, half-bred offspring of a a beautiful angel and a retarded ape. My morbid fascination compels me to want one.
