Amazon Alexa now plays nicely with your iCloud calendar.

Once the two are linked, you can ask Alexa to check your schedule for the day, add appointments using your voice, and more.

Alexa has long supported other calendars, like Gmail, Outlook, and Exchange — but it was always lacking iCloud. Amazon says it was a top-requested feature for its digital assistant, so the retail giant finally got around to adding support.

In the U.S., the U.K., and Germany, you can now link your iCloud calendar to Alexa using the companion smartphone app. Just click the Settings tab, choose Calendar, then select iCloud and login using your iCloud email address and password.

Once added, you’ll be able to say things like, “Alexa, what’s on my calendar today?” or “Alexa, add lunch with Sarah at noon to my calendar,” and the intelligent assistant will do the hard work for you. It will probably do a better job than Siri, too!
