Boost Mobile To Begin Prepaid iPhone Sales Later This Year [Rumor]

Boost Mobile is to begin prepaid iPhone sales during the third quarter of 2013, according to information leaked on Twitter. Boost would become the third prepaid provider to offer Apple’s popular device, following its introduction to Cricket and Virgin Mobile in 2012.

The news hasn’t been confirmed yet, of course, but it comes from @evleaks, an ever-reliable source of information about upcoming smartphones. The account has a terrific track record, and frequently leaks upcoming devices before they’re made official.

It certainly seems like plausible information, too. In fact, it’s rather surprising it’s taken this long for the iPhone to reach Boost, given its arrival on other prepaid carriers last year — especially when you consider that Boost is owned by Sprint, which already has a deal with Apple over the iPhone.
