With Tuesday’s Beats Cables launch, Apple subsidiary Beats officially entered the charging accessories market with its first-ever collection of reinforced charging cables. They bring the brand’s signature style to an often overlooked but essential product category. Available at apple.com, new Beats Cables feature a tangle-free woven design specifically engineered to prevent fraying and increase durability.

The new collection showcases Beats’ characteristic bold aesthetic with four vibrant color options that go well beyond Apple’ classic white. The cable color choices include Bolt Black, Surge Stone, Nitro Navy and Rapid Red. The new cables follow Beats’ recent forays into other accessories, like iPhone cases.

Priced at $18.99 for individual cables and $34.99 for two-packs, the new cables come in two practical lengths. You can get a standard 1.5-meter option for everyday use and a compact 20-centimeter (8-inch) version perfect for travel or reducing desk clutter.

Apple users will appreciate the variety of connection options available, including USB-C to USB-C, USB-A to USB-C, and USB-C to Lightning configurations. That ensures compatibility across the entire Apple ecosystem. While power adapters are sold separately, these cables support impressive charging capabilities.

To celebrate this expansion into a new product category, Beats revived its popular “Pill People” marketing campaign. The humorous promotional spot features voice work from comedians Ben Marshall, Desi Banks and Megan Stalter. You can view it above and across Beats’ social media platforms.

“From bold colors and packaging to bringing product features to life with the Pill People campaign, we’re energizing this category in true Beats fashion,” said Beats CMO Chris Thorne.

Up to 60 watts and USB 2.0 transfer rates

For MacBook, iPad, and iPhone users, the USB-C to USB-C cables offer the most impressive specifications. They support fast charging up to 60 watts when paired with compatible hardware. The cables also enable data transfer at USB 2.0 rates and support audio streaming, including lossless audio when used with compatible Beats headphones and speakers.

The USB-A to USB-C option delivers fast charging up to 15 watts for select iPhone and iPad models. The USB-C to Lightning configuration provides fast charging capabilities for iOS devices with Lightning ports. All cable types support syncing and CarPlay functionality.

In keeping with Apple’s environmental commitments, Beats has designed the cable packaging using 100% plant-based materials sourced from recycled fiber and sustainable forests.

Availability and pricing

The full lineup includes multiple length and connector combinations in various colors. Most options you can get immediately. However, Rapid Red versions of the USB-A to USB-C and USB-C to Lightning cables in the 1.5-meter length come out later this summer.

You can order Beats Cables from Apple or Beats for $18.99 (single cables) and $34.99 (two-packs). They arrive in retail Thursday, April 17.
