The Apple Store is down, for pretty obvious reasons. When it goes back up, expect to see the iPhone 4S there, at the very least. Could we see new products on top of those, though? In an hour, we’ll know all.

Haha me too. I feel so dumb to be so enthralled by another gadget.
I know a lot of people will be disappointed, but personally I really love the iPhone 4 design. It looks really cool. After all, the original form-factor released in 2007 was with us for three years, whereas this one has only been with us for 16 months. I think it has plenty of life in it yet! And it looks every bit as cool as it did 16 months ago. :)
Besides, with the new A5 chip inside it, it won’t be a mere spec bump or a little bit snappier, it’ll be an enormous upgrade and blow all the competition away!
Apple will be releasing the world’s best smartphone today bar none, and that’s whether in ends in a “5” or an “S” !

What makes you NEED a redesign? So you want a new design but keep the internals the same? I think all you want a new design for is so you people know you have the new phone and not the Iphone 4. You are more worried that people will see you has having an older phone. Can people get real and see that the function and speed of the phone is what counts. Apple products are always nicely designed. Fanboys are just getting too spoiled and greedy.

I actually prefer the 3G’s design. Â I like the roundness and how it rests in your hand. Â The 4 is rigid.

Us Fanboys getting “too spoiled and greedy” is Apple’s undoing. Apple has always showed us that it’s the design that matters, not processing power. The software is built to run on all devices; who would justify spending $200 in what Tim Cook calls a “dismal economy” for the same design? Apple needs a redesign..
If you are really this hyped to spend $200 on an A5 and an 8MP camera, then go buy an HTC. Jobs even said at the iOS4 announcement that i4’s 5MP camera captures better images than most 8MP camera phones on the market; again, it’s the design and software, stupid, that keeps us coming back.
