The updates just don’t stop! Apple also updated its iMove, Remote, and Find My iPhone apps today with iOS 5 support and new features.
Remote 2.2 brings iOS 5 compatibility and “additional stability and performance improvements.” iMove 1.2.2 offers iOS 5 compatibility and added support for video imported from external cameras. Find My iPhone 1.3 lets you find a Mac via GPS and receive an email when a registered device comes back online after being lost, all thanks to the magical powers of iCloud.
You didn’t think you could possibility update so much software in one day, did you?

Im totally downloading on like 3 macs right now,,, but my main question here is Pages? numbers? on the mac end of things,,, no pages update? so no iCloud sync for pages on the mac part???
Still waiting for them to update Remote so that we can control iOS to iOS devices. Example, my iPhone controlling music off of my iPad.
as I understand it, you don’t need pages etc updated for iCloud on the Mac because of the common file system. The update to Lion covers that area
You do need each app updated on iOS because each app has its own data ‘box’ and they don’t talk to each other. Even if you save something to iTunes like a PDF of a pages file, I’m not sure you can then go to something like Goodreader and open that ‘save to iTunes’ copy. I keep hoping they will change that because then I could write my own tracks in Garageband and share them over to iMovie to replace the cheesy music in the themes without having to sync to my computer and then back to the regular iTunes music library
so I’ve been fiddling around,, and pages still uses iWork beta for sharing feature?? whats with that,,
Wow, 5 hours to do the updates. Not complaining, just saying.

All I know is it seems very complicated for me. I have three apple devices and want to start using iCloud. However, it isn’t at all seamless like it should be. I am disappointed and pissed off.
Dont forget to update to Mac os 10.6.8!!!
the documents from your mac aren’t synced automatically, you have to drag them to the iWork folder in iCloud…so iWork for Mac is practically left out from documents syncing
All of these downloads, I don’t even know where to start, and with a family that has 3 Macs, 3 iPhones and 3 iPads it seems as if I will be busy for a while!
Know the feeling, I always sit there staring at the screen hoping it will move on to the next stage without any trouble.
How about you nice people update all of your gear right now (because you can TOTALLY tell from the outside of course, wouldn’t want to be caught with an outdated version of iOS…) and in a few weeks I’ll see what has ended up broken and what not, okay? Thanks!
iMovie also drops support for iOS 4…maybe it’s expected, but I feel a bit disappointed ’cause my iP4 is stuck on JB+unlock for now.
Oh well, wifey will have to live in a iOS4 land for a while when I pass it on and get a brand spanking 4S! :D

I use Mountain Lion on which I created an iMovie project. The project was really important for me. After I saved the project something happened and the application closed itself. When I opened app again my project was gone. I was really scared that my data gone. But, then I searched lot on Internet and I got Mac data recovery software that safely recovered my file.
