iTunes users outside the U.S. will want to consult Apple’s new prices, which Wednesday were changed to be more in align with the American dollar. Some countries came out winners, while some foreign users may end up paying more.
Australia, which had made some noise about the pricing differences, is now in line with iTunes’ domestic 99-cent model, dropping from a previous $1.19. Meanwhile, the U.K., Norway and Mexico had their iTunes prices adjusted upwards.
New international iTunes pricing:
- UK: £0.69 (Was £0.59)
- Australia: A$0.99 (Was $1.19)
- Japan: ¥85 (Was ¥115)
- Mexico: Mex$12 (Was Mex$10)
- Switzerland: 1.0Fr (Was 1.10Fr)
- Norway: 7.00kr (Was 6.00kr)
