Watching Major League Soccer just got cheaper and easier. Starting in 2026, anyone with a subscription to Apple TV can enjoy every regular-season MLS match.

“We’re thrilled to bring MLS to more fans around the world next season on Apple TV,” said Eddy Cue, Apple’s senior vice president of services, in a press release Thursday. “Every match, all in one place, alongside incredible Apple Originals — it’s a win for fans everywhere.”

Apple TV levels up sports offering with free MLS coverage

Major League Soccer is the top professional soccer league in the United States and Canada, known for its fast-paced, skillful style of play — and a rapidly growing fan base. Founded in 1993 and launched in 1996, the league has expanded from its original 10 teams to a sprawling lineup of clubs across North America, drawing players from around the world while also developing homegrown talent through robust youth academies.

That means MLS blends international influence with a uniquely North American sports atmosphere, featuring passionate supporters’ groups, modern soccer-specific stadiums, and a rising role in global soccer culture.

Apple has been the home for MLS for years, but until now, watching the matches required an MLS Season Pass at $14.99 a month or $99 for the full season. The MLS Season Pass will no longer be offered — watching the sport is now integrated into Apple TV.

A subscription to Apple’s streaming service brings every 2026 regular-season match, the annual Leagues Cup tournament, the MLS All-Star Game, the Campeones Cup, the Audi MLS Cup Playoffs and more. In addition, subscribers will have access to studio programming along with a wide range of complementary on-demand content.

“Our partnership with Apple has always been about innovating for our fans,” said Don Garber, Major League Soccer’s commissioner. “Bringing every MLS match to Apple TV takes that vision to the next level by making it easier than ever for fans everywhere to watch, connect, and be part of the game.”

Apple TV for sports and more

As noted, the complete MLS season now comes with a subscription to Apple TV  — the standalone MLS Season Pass ends in 2025.

It’s not the only sports offering on Apple TV. The streamer also shows select Major League Baseball games on its Friday Night Baseball show. Plus, Apple TV recently cut a five-year deal to stream Formula One racing.

The Apple TV streaming service costs $12.99 per month, with a seven-day free trial. You also can watch it via any tier of the Apple One subscription bundle.

The streaming video service also includes much more, of course. Apple produces an array of popular and highly rated movies and series. That includes dramas, comedies, musicals, children’s shows, nature documentaries, etc.
