Apple TV unveils hot 2026 lineup of series, movies and live sports

Apple TV showcased its ambitious 2026 slate Wednesday at an exclusive press event, revealing a packed calendar of new and returning series, original films and expanded live sports coverage including Formula 1 racing, Major League Soccer and Friday Night Baseball.

The streamer plans to release new originals every week in 2026, headlined by the highly anticipated fourth season of Ted Lasso this summer. Watch trailers below.

Apple TV 2026 programming lineup

The presentation featured stars and producers taking the stage to discuss some of the year’s most-anticipated programming, Apple said in a press release. The event also included Apple’s Senior Vice President of Services Eddy Cue and Formula 1 President and CEO Stefano Domenicali discussing Apple TV’s debut as the U.S. broadcast partner for the 2026 F1 season.

Jennifer Garner returns alongside Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Angourie Rice, Judy Greer, and Rita Wilson in this sequel based on Laura Dave’s bestselling novel.

Monarch: Legacy of Monsters season two (February 27)

Kurt Russell, Wyatt Russell, Anna Sawai, and Kiersey Clemons return as the fate of Monarch hangs in the balance, with action moving to Kong’s Skull Island.

For All Mankind season five (March 27)

Widow’s Bay (April 29)

Matthew Rhys stars as a small-town mayor trying to boost tourism on a supposedly cursed island in this horror-comedy also featuring Stephen Root and Kate O’Flynn.

Live sports expansion

Following the success of F1: The Movie, which received four Academy Award nominations including Best Picture and became the highest-grossing sports feature of all time, Apple TV becomes the U.S. broadcast partner for the 2026 F1 season.

The racing league joins Apple’s existing MLS and MLB programming, with all coverage included in the Apple TV subscription.
