As the new home of Formula 1 on TV in the United States, Apple TV really wants its users to dig big-time car racing. So it just raised the green flag on a caravan of F1 content for fans to watch before Grand Prix races get underway in March as the start of the 2026 season.
And it’s all free for subscribers.
Apple TV revs up Formula 1 content ahead of racing season
So Apple TV just added 10 F1-related videos to the Apple TV app. This comes following the streamer’s 5-year deal with Formula 1 racing to be the exclusive U.S. TV provider. And it comes just after Apple’s F1 The Movie with Brad Pitt drew a surprise Best Picture nomination from the Oscars and ahead of the racing season’s opening Grand Prix races in Australia, China and Japan in March.
You can find the videos in a new section on Apple TV called “Get Ready for Formula 1 on Apple TV,” which says it provides highlights, previews and more.
The videos included so far cover a range of topics, from the new look of the Red Bull team’s race cars to new rule changes and season schedules. You can even see a 2025 recap of F2 and F3 races.

In November 2019, Apple TV “became the first all-original streaming service to launch around the world, and has premiered more original hits and received more award recognitions faster than any other streaming service. To date, Apple Original films, documentaries and series have been honored with 682 wins and 3,115 award nominations and counting,” the service said.
