Following Thanksgiving as it does, Black Friday — and it’s smaller and more stupidly named sister “holiday.” Cyber Monday — is generally an America-only affair, but not if you shop directly from Apple, who are now teasing their November 26th “one-day Apple shopping event” both domestically and internationally.

Sure, they don’t call it a Black Friday sale. Heck, they don’t even say it’s a “sale.” But stop by the Apple Online Store on Friday and “[y]ou’ll find dozens of great iPad, iPod and Mac gifts for everyone on your list,” reads the teaser, which is also seen on the UK, French and German Apple Store websites, amongst others.

Apple sales tend to be pretty modest affairs, although there are often freebies to be had. In fact, if you’re looking for a Black Friday deal on an Apple product, scoping out resellers is probably your best bet. Even so, every little bit off helps this holiday season, and even if you decide to just shop directly from Apple this Black Friday, you can probably expect to pay at least a few bucks less than you usually would.
