Apple has released a software update that’s recommended for all MacBook Airs and MacBook Pros released in June 2012 — including the 15-inch Retina MacBook Pro. In addition to graphics performance and reliability enhancements, the update promises to improve compatibility with some USB devices.
It’s available to download now via the Mac App Store, and it weighs in at just over 127MB. You’ll need to restart your Mac to install it once it’s finished downloading.
The update seems to have fixed an issue I had with my Retina MacBook Pro which would cause the keyboard to become unresponsive for around 30 seconds after plugging a device into a USB port. If you’ve experienced the same thing, let us know in the comments if this update fixes it for you.

I noticed this update yesterday :)
Do you know if it fixes the screen flickering issue and the retina macbook 15″? usually happens wakening from sleep etc
Does it address the image ghosting (burning) that occurs on the screens of the retina pro’s?
this update has made my 2012 13″ MB Pro wake up more slowly… ugh
