Apple Pay is soon coming to 16 new markets

Apple Pay is on its way to 16 new markets, according to one mobile banking service.

Apple plans to increase the total number of supported countries to 40 by the end of 2019. Here’s the full list of territories that are next in line for its mobile payments service.

Apple Pay has been slowly but surely expanding its reach across Europe in recent months. There are lots of European countries still without it, but that’s going to change for many.

Mobile bank Monese has revealed a list of markets where Apple Pay will be available “soon.”

Those countries are Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Estonia, Greece, Lithuania, Liechtenstein, Latvia, Malta, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, and Slovenia.

Apple Pay is also making its way to the Netherlands, Hungary, and Luxembourg. This takes the total number of soon-supported markets to 16.
