Apple’s online stores in Australia and New Zealand have been taken down while reductions are made to a whole host of products for the company’s Black Friday sale.
When they come back up, expect money off new Macs, iPods, iPads, and tons of accessories. For a sneak peek at what’s in store, check out Apple’s leaked Black Friday pamphlet.
Other online stores around the world are expected to go down shortly.

Sites need to stop giving 9to5Mac any credit over this. APPLE sent out an email with all this same info at least 12 hours before 9to5Mac had their ‘big scoop’.Â
I see Aussies and Kiwis get hosed by Apple most of the year. Apple’s big discount day is to offer prices that are basically the regular prices in the US.
Thanks … for nothing.
BAM, and Apple users in the UK get hosed as well, just like the down unders. Even after deducting VAT.
Be sure to pick up your Macbook Air and your macbook Pro Sandy Bridge Laptops as the newest Ivy Bridge chipset is coming in 2012 making the 2011 models so yesterday. If 2012 was just another year of Sandy Bridge chipsets it would be OK to buy now. But a whole new chipset for 2012? Hold off if you can.
