Apple’s latest advertising campaign for the iPad Pro touts how well the tablet works as a PC replacement.
The funny new ads, released today, use real tweets from real people to highlight how the iPad Pro excels over old-school computers in areas like speed, Wi-Fi, productivity and viruses. Each clip is only 15 seconds long — and they all exhibit a playful tone that’s similar to the old “Get a Mac” campaign.

Those are pretty horrible ads

Would easily appeal to computer illiterates.
– My old PC has a 40″ UHD screen and 16 gigs of ram, so I can run 4 full HD-windows with 4 different browsers, each in its own virtual computer with 4 different OSes.
– Well the iPad pro comes in new salmon-pink, and has an built in flashlight!
Yup. You’re right. What person in his right mind would not install 4 different OSes in his machine? How could they possibly get their stuff done on only one OS installation?
Who in their right mind would like to do more than [whatever] on the computer they own?
Well, for example if you are dev, and do more with your computer than dick around.
Plus about a meelion other things you are used to be able to do on a computer, these last 30 years or so, that you for some reason are supposed to not be able to no any more in 2017.
