Apple Card Savings, the next financial service from the Mac-maker, might be right around the corner. The company announced the service last autumn without a launch date. But now an Apple tipster claims it’s coming in only a few days.
When it debuts, the service will provide Apple Card users with savings accounts.
Remember Apple Card Savings?
It’s possible you’ve forgotten about Apple Card Savings. It was announced back in October 2022 and Apple has said nothing about it since then.
As a reminder, the upcoming financial service will allow Apple Card users to automatically move the Daily Cash they accrue from every purchase into what Apple promises will be “a high-yield savings account from Goldman Sachs.”
Users will be able to add additional funds from their Apple Cash balance or a linked bank account.

The tipster who calls themselves Aaron on Twitter said Thursday that, “After re-examining the backend code, it seems like Apple Card Savings Accounts may go live on April 17.”
It’s possible the service will roll out gradually rather than becoming available to every potential user at once. That’s how another financial service, Apple Pay Later, is being introduced.
When it launches, Apple Card Savings will be an option. Users can choose to instead continue to have Daily Cash added to an Apple Cash card in Wallet, ready to spend immediately.
To be clear, the service is for Apple Card holders only. People without this credit card cannot open a savings account with Apple.
