Rovio, the creators of Angry Birds, celebrated the game’s second birthday on December 11 with an update that’s guaranteed to please fans of the bird slinger. In addition to 15 brand new levels, version 2.0 of the original Angry Birds game unlocks every episode available.
That means that even if you’re terrible at the game, you can play the first level of each episode and attempt to unlock the rest from there:
HAPPY BIRDDAY! The Angry Birds are celebrating their 2nd birthday, but the pigs are crashing the party and it’s up to you to save it! As a birthday gift to our fans, all episodes are now unlocked! Satisfy your sweet tooth with 15 brand new birthday cake levels! Celebrate 300 LEVELS of Angry Birds! Party with the amazing expandable orange bird! Check out the spiffy new menus and graphics! Special birthday achievements make this update a treat!
Angry Birds has undoubtedly been one of the most successful iOS games in the history of the App Store. As of last month, according to Mashable, Angry Birds users have played over 266 billion (yes, billion!) levels, shot 400 billion birds, and collected 44 billion stars. No matter how many times I read that, I am still astonished.
And while it may seem like Rovio attempts to cash in on the title’s success in every possible way, what with Angry Birds plush toys, iPhone and iPad cases, and even an Angry Birds movie, it’s great to see they’re still updating the original Angry Birds game for free.

They don’t mention that update will delete everything you previously achieved returning you back to beginning. All episodes and levels. achievements and leaderboard will remain.
I don’t want to play it all over again… this sucks.
